Business Marketing Decisions Suppression File Download
To minimise your marketing costs, you should always use the latest Business Marketing Decisions CD and we would advise you to apply the latest suppression files available from us on request.
The latest version of Business Marketing Decisions is 2007d.
If you require the latest suppression files please send us an e-mail to bmd.uk@equifax.com requesting the suppression files and the type required (phone or fax), and stating the version of the CD you are using.
We will then return you one or more suppression files for the CD.
The files will be delivered as zip files. If you do not have unzip capability, you can retrieve one from sites such as www.winzip.com or www.powerarchiver.com
Loading the suppression files
1. To apply these files to Business Marketing Decisions, click on the appropriate file(s) above.
2. Save the file to your hard drive (e.g.: InfoMD/stoplists directory).
3. Once downloaded, open the archive and extract the file to your InfoMD/stoplists directory.
4. Open up the Business Marketing Decisions Application and select Import Suppression File from the File option on the top tool bar.
5. Click the “import” button on the information screen
6. Open the “stoplists” folder on the next screen by double clicking it
7. Highlight the file to be used and click “open”
8. You should repeat this for all the suppression files you need to import.
When running your application, you should click all the appropriate suppression files for your version of the CD. If you are not running a telemarketing campaign you do not require the phone files; if you are not running a fax marketing campaign, you do not require the fax files.
