Data Enhancement
We can clean the addresses of your existing records and/or match them against our database, and add additional characteristics if required.
Address Cleaning and Validation
Addresses can come in many formats. Our address processing is performed using powerful formatting and business address validation software which includes the Post Office Address File (PAF). This gives a standardised presentation of format. The match process provides differing levels of confidence. To reduce the chance of mailing to existing clients, we suggest a looser mach and where you wish to be absolutely certain you are matching characteristics from one database to another, we recommend a higher match level. We can process both business and personal names and, with the latter, determine probable gender to generate salutations.
De-duplication
Where you have multiple data sources, you may wish to combine these before using them. We can help you reduce your mailing costs by merging these files, and purging (de-duplicating) matches.
Data Audits
These reports detail the data coverage and quality of address information on your database on a field by field basis. It will include comments on address, postcode, telephone number and other key data items within the files presented to us.
Data Append
This service enables you to add further information to your database from the Equifax B2B marketing database to enable you to segment your customers (or prospects) further. You will need to have your data files run through the address processing above.
